California has 58 counties and is the third largest state in the entire United States. Therefore, the job of finding low cost spay/neuter veterinarians is a challenging one. This website is a work in progress. Information will be added on a county-by-county basis. And, of course, as new veterinarians are found, their information will be included.
First, find your county on the list and click on it. It will take you to a list of veterinarians. If you live on a county line, it may be helpful to check both counties.
Second, choose a veterinarian or clinic and click on name. It will take you to a page that will list the base spay/neuter fees, location, and telephone number.
Third, call the office to verify that the information is current and, if acceptable, make an appointment. Remember that the first thing you should say is that you are being referred by SpayCalifornia. This is also the time to ask all the questions you may have including if there are any additional fees or services required.
